It was created to convey the great achievements of Yamada Houkoku, who worked as a yomei scholar, feudal reformer and educator at the end of the Tokugawa period, to future generations. He became a person in Houkoku, and exhibited methods of financial reform, Houkoku as an educator, graphic panels such as chronology, reproductions of archeological sites, drafts and textbooks of the requisite episode rewritten by Houkoku.
