A tomb with a total length of about 80m, built in the late Yayoi period, the largest in its era. It is an important archeological site for considering the change of the grave system from the Yayoi period to the Kofun period. It is one of the constituent cultural properties of “Okayama, the town where the“ Momotaro legend ”was born”, which was recognized as a “Japan Heritage” in May 30.
